Sometimes I just have to stop reading a book. Not because I hate it. Not because it’s bad. Rather, I stop reading because it hurts. I’m so emotionally invested in the people and the story that I need to stop reading. It’s like trying to go through an entire lifetime in one day. You can’t; it emotionally and physically exhausts you. So I put a bookmark in, take a deep breath, shed a tear, and close the book until tomorrow…
